DOOLIN CAVE
DOOLIN CAVE EXPERIENCE
TOUR INFORMATION
YOUR REAL UNDERGROUND ADVENTURE AWAITS!
The average visit to Doolin Cave lasts approximately 1.5 hours. The fully guided tour of Doolin Cave lasts 50 minutes with a tour capacity of 20 people. The tour frequency is every half hour during summer season and every hour on the hour for the rest of the year.
It is worth noting there are 125 steps down into and 125 steps up out of the cave, equivalent to an 8-storey building. Level of fitness required is moderate. There is a handrail all the way down and there is a landing every ten steps.
Inside, the cave can be cool and damp, so we recommend that infants and children under 3 years of age do not enter. However, very young children and their guardian are warmly invited to relax in our café or enjoy a gentle stroll along the Eco-Trail, while others in the group explore the wonders of this remarkable underground world.
