Families are very welcome at Doolin Cave but we do not encourage infants and children under 3 years of age to enter the cave. Very small children and their guardian are warmly invited to relax in our café or enjoy a gentle stroll along the Eco-Trail, while others in your group explore the wonders of this remarkable underground world.

It is important to note visitors must descend 125 steps into the enchanting depths of Doolin Cave, and ascend the same number to return to daylight—equivalent to an 8-storey building. Therefore no buggies or strollers can access the cave.

Inside, the cave is dark, cool, and damp, which may be unsettling for some young children who are sensitive to darkness. Others, however, will relish the thrill of an underground adventure!
