For the Love of Limestone

Fall in love with the Burren & experience Valentine’s weekend at Doolin Cave
For those looking to do something a little bit different this Valentine’s weekend, we’ve got the perfect date inspo to cover all ground – limestone ground that is!

❤️  Foolin’ in Doolin
Head to Wild at the Cave for a spot of lunch at the weekend (there’s sweet treats, French Toast and more on the menu!), followed by a romantic stroll around our eco-trail to meet Winnie & Minnie (our resident pygmy goats) before adventuring underground on a Doolin Cave Tour to see Europe’s LARGEST stalactite. You can also pick up a piece of Doolin Cave Pottery at the visitor centre as a unique keepsake. All Doolin Cave Pottery is made with LOVE – each piece is thrown from glacial cave clay which has been hand dug 120ft deep within the caverns of the cave.

❤️  Fall in Love with the Burren
Explore the lunar landscape of the Burren together on Sunday 13th February with a late morning walk around the Flaggy Shore (ice cream lovers can make a pitstop at Linnalla Ice Cream first!), followed by a tour of Doolin Cave and Valentine’s Afternoon Tea by the sea on the limestone shores of Doolin pier, watching the sun go down. BLISS.
